Haul: DAISO ($2.80 shop)

I went to Daiso the other day wanting to pick up only one item, but it never works out that way. I ended up with more than a few beauty and random finds.

In case you don't know, Daiso is a $2.80 shop that has a similar concept to our local one dollar shop. Daiso stocks product ranging from beauty, kitchenware, stationary, household goods and snacks. All theirs products are imported from Japan.

It could be a little overwhelming when you try to understand the Japanese writing on their products, but most of the time they have English translation on the stickers.

One of the things I really like is the dust bin! They have many different cute patterns to choose from and they constantly have new ones coming.

I actually have never tried their fake lashes before, so I picked up some new style lashes to try out.

L-R: Individual Eyeshadow Applicators, Eyebrow Coat and Nail file
Individual eyeshadow sponge applicators are the best when you want to pack on eyeshadow for an intense look. And as they are interchangeable, they are very handy when you need to switch colors while applying.

Who doesn't like a cheap alternative? I've heard this eyebrow coat just gets the job done and it's waterproof.

L-R: Liquid Eyeliner in Black, Eyeliner Coat, Brow Pencil in Gray
I was introduced to the eyeliner coat by a Hong Kong YouTuber - WaterFish. It is a waterproof coat that you apply on top of your regular eyeliner to keep it in place. I wonder how well it is going to perform.

And because of the eyeliner coat, I was intrigued to get the liquid eyeliner, which is manufactured by the same company. I also picked up a new gray brow pencil, as my old one is going in the bin soon. Surprisingly, there was not much to choose from, most of the brow pencils came in brown or black.

L-R: Wet Q-tips, Facial Paper Mask and Silicone Moisturizing Mask
I always have one of these individual wet Q-tips in my bag for emergency use. They are so convenient when you need to fix your makeup on-the-go or get rid of the smudged eyeliner, since they are already damped.

These dry facial paper masks are something I have always wanted to try. You can soak it with your homemade DIY masks, rose water or your toner for a quick facial. Here's the instruction that was on the packaging:

The Silicone Moisturizing Mask was an impulsive buy. You are meant to wear this over a normal sheet mask for better moisture absorption. This just looked so interesting to me and I love anything that helps to moisturize skin. And even if it doesn't work, I'm sure this will still be good to keep that paper mask in place. :)

Some other random things I picked up when I was there...

L-R: Umbrella shaped Food Cover, Food packaging clips/fasteners and Crispy Caramel Corn
