As some of you might know, I recently went to Sydney for a short trip to visit my dear friends from high school. It was such an amazing trip and I was so happy to finally get to reunite with my loved ones. I also had lots of fun meeting some new people. 

A few weeks back when I was strolling in Myers, I found the OPI's liquid sand polishes, which I have been wanting to check out for a very long time. At first I was going to grab a full size bottle, but then I really could not choose between the color range, so I opted for the mini nail lacquers box set. 

I went to Daiso the other day wanting to pick up only one item, but it never works out that way. I ended up with more than a few beauty and random finds.

It was one of my girl friends' birthday party on Friday night and we went to celebrate at a club. It was a really cold night, so I decided to go with a long sleeves black lace top, which I recently bought, and a creamy pink tube skirt. 

Knowing that we will be taking photos during the night, I opted for a liquid foundation that contains no SPF to avoid any flash back. And in order for the facial features to stand out, without being "washed out" by the flash in photos, I went for a smokey eye makeup look along with a bold lip color.

If you have been to Priceline or Target lately, you might have realized that ESSENCE has recently released some exciting new products to their collection. This includes a range of base, eye, lips and nails products. 

When I stumbled across the new display stand in my local Priceline, I was immediately drawn to the new 3D eyeshadows. So I picked up three of the combinations - one bold, one neutral and one smokey duo.

As May comes along, it is time for a monthly favorite :D

April has gone pass so quickly and when I think about it, it's about time to stress about deadlines, tests and exams. What I most look forward to is the semester break that comes after, as I will get to fly back home to visit my family and friends. :)

Online shopping has totally become an addiction of mine, especially when I find a good shop with relatively low price point. You will understand if you are from Australia. We don't have access to some brands, such as Sonia Kashuk, Wet 'n' Wild, besides shopping online. And even when they do sell them in Australia, their prices are marked up almost three times the price they are in US and other places. So enough of my complaints, let's move on to the haul. :)

I enjoy shopping at Beauty Joint. They stock some my favorite US brands at a reasonable price and they also have relatively fast shipping. 

Since I'm running low on my ORLY Polisheid top coat, I figured I would try the Seche Vite top coat that every other Youtubers rave about. 

For the first beauty related post, I thought I would start off with something simple. =) 

I wore this makeup look for my housemate's friend's 20th birthday dinner. I did not want to go too wild with it, so I kept my eyeshadow fairly neutral and only smudged a little pop of purple on the lower lash line .

HELLO everyone! =) After a very long time of struggle and contemplation, I have finally decided to start blogging and here I am with my very first post. 

First, for those who don't know me...

I am 22 from Hong Kong. I have lived in most cities around Australia, including Sydney, Adelaide and now currently studying university in Melbourne. It was not easy to leave my family and all loved ones behind, but being away from home means experiencing a whole new life and culture, and meeting new people from around the world. 

Through the ups and downs in life, I have now become who I am. Still shy when it comes to meeting new people, but have found myself a bunch of loving friends, which I am eternally thankful for having them stand by me at my worst. 

So...no more of the boring stuff. This blog is going to be about a few of my greatest interests - makeup, nails, styling and other random thoughts that hit my mind. Hope you will like it :)
