Gift Guide #3: NARS, Too Faced, Ciaté London, Mecca and more

Less than 2 days to Christmas! Are you ready yet?

Today I will be sharing with you the holiday collections available at MECCA - the one stop shop for super last minute Christmas shopping!

As a #meccabeautyjunkie, their holiday collections always makes me so excited. Each year, they release some great value sets and their limited edition packaging gets me every time! This year, they have teamed up with the talented Australian artist Pip & Pop AKA Tanya Schultz to design some fun and festive packagings for the three Mecca brands (YAS - I have successfully collected all three different designs.). You won't believe the designs are created using washi tape!

Let's start with the one that is on the very top of my list - NARS Sarah Moon Collection Mind Game Velvet Lip Glide Set (RRP $66). As soon as I saw the sneak peek photos, I knew I had to get it. In this set, you will get 6 mini sized Lip Glides ranging from a nude to different shades of red. I highly recommend you get this set if you know someone who is obsessed with NARS, or you might consider keeping this for yourself to try out the new formula!

Too Faced's holiday sets are always one of the best ones. Every year there's a theme and their packaging is just the cutest! The Merry Macarons Palette* (RRP $57) comes with 12 eyeshadows with a range of neutrals and a pop of purple and plum. The set also comes with a deluxe-sized Better Than Sex mascara and to top it off, these eyeshadows are vanilla scented!

Sadly, this set is sold out online, but if you are lucky, you might be able to still find it in-store.

Argan oil has become a beauty staple for me. You can use it to moisturise your skin or mix it in with your foundation for a radiant glow. A great value set to get is the Josie Maran Cosmetics Nourishing Argan Oil Skincare Collection* (RRP $71). It comes with a selection of Josie's skincare must-haves, including Argan Cleansing Oil (55ml), Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment (10ml), Whipped Argan Oil Face Butter (10ml) and 100% Pure Argan Oil (50ml). The Pure Argan Oil alone is already worth $70 - such a great bargain!

Another skincare set that is worth a mention is the Philosophy Renewed Hope For The Holidays (RRP $49). I recently tried their Renewed Hope In A Jar Dry moisturiser and I really enjoyed it. It's very moisturising and it leaves my skin feeling so nice. So I thought I would try the other formulas in the range. This set comes with Renewed Hope In A Jar Day Moisturiser (30ml), Renewed Hope In A Jar Night Moisturiser (30ml) and Renewed Hope In A Jar Eye Cream (7ml)

If you have a nail polish addict around you, you know he/she will love and appreciate the Ciate London Mini Mani Month (RRP $88). Even though this is an advent calendar and it is already almost Christmas, it's never too late. I can't say no to the beautiful shades in this set. There are 24 gift boxes to open including mini/full-size polishes, nail treatments, nail toppers and a rose gold nail file. If you would like to see swatches, let me know!

If the advent calendar is too much for you, check out the Snow Globe (RRP $41). This set comes in a gorgeous snow globe packaging and on the inside, you will find five mini nail polishes. The shades lean more plum and burgundy, which is very festive. The two glittery polishes can be used as a nail topper to spice up the base colours. These polishes also have a special edition lid with golden stars printed on it.

For the stocking stuffers, you may consider the Ciate London Paint Pot Duo To Go (RRP $18). This duo set comes with two mini polishes - one is a base colour and one is a glitter topper. They both complement each other or you can use them on its own. While you are at it, take a look at their Kiss Collective (RRP $30) as well. It is a mini trio set of their Velvet Liquids, which are bold and matte with a moussey texture. They are rich in pigment, non-drying and comfortable to wear - raisin lips approved!

On those no-makeup days, I like to slap on some tinted lip balm. When I saw the Mecca Cosmetica (Em)Power Pout Tinted Lip De-Luscious Trio (RRP $45), I can't say no. They have jazzed up their regular shades with some fine shimmers and each of these pots is slightly smaller than their regulars, which I don't mind at all. They have kept the lid rose gold and this set comes beautifully packaged in a giftable box, hence no wrapping paper needed.

Last but not least is the Good Vibrations Bright Nail Polish Quad* (RRP $55), yet another great gift set from Mecca Cosmetica. It includes four bold and fun nail polishes that are perfect for the summer time. The bright red and purple, pastel peach and lilac - there is not one shade that I don't like. The colour selection also matches the packaging.

I believe no one does Christmas better than Mecca.
